This is pretty awesome. The bald eagle has been removed from the endangered species list. In the 1960's, there were only about 400 of them in the lower 48 states (there are 40,000 in Alaska, but none in Hawaii), and there are now about 10,000. The nation's symbol will continue to be protected under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act. Sweet. Read whatever article you like
