Luxury cars are going to start using infrared to detect pedestrians and other potential dangers on the road, beyond the reach of headlights. That's pretty awesome.
I agree! I drove the Audi A8 with Night Vision and it works great. I was able to see two guys walking on the side of the road well beyond my headlamps.
It also warns you if the people are in danger of being hit.
