And this is the lame version that the Kanyedashians just made to promote Kanye West's mediocre new album, the blasphemously entitled "Yeezus." Just one more reason to hate those people. I used to love Kanye but I've grown tired of his antics, especially now that the music isn't that great. I can put up with a lot if the music's great. See: Michael Jackson. I'd check out "On Site," song #1 that sets the listener up to think it's going to be a great album, but it just goes down hill from there, until the final song, "Bound 2," a soul throwback to his early work. Sounds like it'd fit right in on the College Dropout, but feels out of place on Yeezus. And plus the album name is not clever at all. Totally bored by it and him in general. And Jay-Z is now releasing, cough cough, um, "Magna Carta Holy Grail." Seriously, Kanye and Jay-Z can go f#$k themselves.

Kanye's Style Consultant Is Cassius Clay

19 year-old Yale sophomore, Cassius Clay, that is. The dude was shopping at Barney's, when someone tapped him on the shoulder to compliment him on his outfit. That person was Kanye West, who has now hired Clay, forcing him to make the understandable choice to take a leave of absence from New Haven.

This guy is just ridiculous. Buy his new album. It's awesome. Not on iTunes, though. The case and art stashed within it are worth owning. Maybe I'm old fashioned.

Kanye might be a gay fish, but he is on fire with his new foray into the fashion world. Maybe it's because he's a gay fish. I didn't love the third Air Yeezy colorway when I first saw it, but it has grown on me. I think it just might be the most interesting so far.

Magnanimous

Everyone knows I love Kanye, so I got a few heads-ups that he was featured on last night's South Park. I haven't even seen the episode, but I assumed it was a pretty scathing portrayal. I expect nothing less from Stone and Parker. They are comic geniuses and Scientologists (I love that spell check thinks that's not a word) are the only people who take themselves so seriously that they don't think South Park is funny.

I just like this guy more and more. Kanye's reaction to the episode is nothing if not magnanimous-

They Even Glow in the Dark

Do you ever see something that you think is so awesome that you kind of hate it? Like when you live in Miami and there are gorgeous women everywhere and for some reason it's annoying? This is in spite of the fact that I'm super charming and sometimes even get to smooch those sexy ladies. My mother tells me I'm handsome all the time, so I know I am at least a little bit.

What does this have to do with sneakers? I think the answer is obvious, since this is like the tenth post I've made about these shoes and I'm clearly running out of good titles. I'm not telling anyone that the pink and black ones come out on May 2nd because then everyone will want to come and hang out with Larry and me when we camp out to buy them. We're going to make s'mores maybe. We won't even have to make a fire since it's like a billion degrees out already. In closing, I hate Kanye and his stupid awesome sneakers and all the hot women in Miami and the humidity in this town. It's only April! Dammit. 808s & Heartbreak

Buy it. It's awesome. "808s" refers to the Roland TR-808 drum machine, which Kanye used on every track. I learned here on Wikipedia that Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" was one of the first hit songs to employ the 808 in production.

Where Are My Yeezys?

I don't think you can actually buy these. The Nike Air Yeezy (made for Kanye) is obviously quite reminiscent of the pair of sneaks that Marty McFly wears in Back to the Future II. They are awesome. Kanye wore them on his last tour.

I'm pleased to announce that my dog, I mean, dawg, in the race has won. KanYe's album is outselling 50's by a wide margin.
